Dr. Wan welcomes referrals for training and behavior modification from veterinarians, vet techs, practice managers, and other veterinary staff. She enjoys collaborating with other professionals to ensure that clients and their dogs receive the best possible care.
Dr. Wan is a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist, approved by the Board of Professional Certification of the Animal Behavior Society, so you can be confident that she has met stringent educational and experiential requirements. She keeps up-to-date with the behavior literature and uses scientifically sound and humane techniques. Since behavioral problems can stem from pain and other physical ailments, Dr. Wan often refers clients to veterinarians for diagnosis and treatment of possible contributing medical conditions. She follows-up extensively with clients and keeps veterinarians informed about their patients’ behavioral progress. For behavior problems, veterinarians also receive a copy of behavioral reports.
